Angela Hill (11-7) will continue her notable fast turnaround rate, stepping in for Hannah Goldy in a fight against Loma Lookboonmee (4-1) at UFC Auckland on Feb. 22nd. The matchup was first announced by Brian Butler-Au via Instagram.
Hill’s last fight was on Jan. 25th, stopping Hannah Cifers in the second round with strikes. Her fight against the Thai fighter will be just 28 days after her last win.
She is known for fighting more often than most UFC talent, fighting four times within seven months in 2019. Only joining the promotion in 2017, Hill has competed 10 times.
Lookboonmee made her UFC debut in October, getting a split decision victory over Aleksandra Albu. She is the first female talent in the UFC from Thailand.
“Overkill” Hill is currently on a two-fight winning streak, the longest combo of wins she’s had since the start of her UFC career.
Currently set to headline UFC on ESPN+ 26 is Paul Felder and New Zealand’s Dan Hooker. The show will take place from the Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand.
