Kicking off the prelims on Saturday, Anthony Ivy and Christian Aguilera made their respective UFC debuts against eachother. Here’s how the welterweight action went.
Bout 1: Anthony Ivy (8-2) vs. Christian Aguilera (13-6) (Welterweight)
Aguilera was landing hard punches early. A two-punch combination hurt Ivy, having him move back and hit the cage hard. Aguilera came forward with more punches, making Ivy shell up and crouch. As Ivy kept pressing forward, the referee stepped in and ended the fight.
RESULT: Christian Aguilera def. Anthony Ivy via TKO, Punches (RD 1, 0:59)
