Ramiz Brahimaj has been taken off of Saturday’s UFC card, with Jason Witt replacing him against Takashi Sato. Announced by the UFC, Brahimaj was taken off the card as a precaution after a cornerman tested positive for COVID-19.
Due to his last-minute replacement, Witt will not be a part of the scheduled weigh-ins on Friday, weighing in separately.
The fight will be the UFC debut for Witt, who comes in with a 17-5 record. Currently on a four-fight winning streak, Witt last fought in February. He has competed in notable promotions before like Bellator, LFA and Titan FC.
Now with a new opponent, Sato still has the same goal in mind, that being to bounce back from his first loss in the UFC. He enters this fight with a 1-1 UFC record.
