Former welterweight challenger Carlos Condit will try again to return to the win column on October 3rd, facing Court McGee on a UFC “Fight Night” card. News of the fight booking was broken on “The Buck and Dex Podcast” which had Condit on as a guest recently.
Condit’s last fight was in late 2018, losing to Michael Chiesa via kimura in the second round. The loss extended his losing streak to five-in-a-row, a streak he hasn’t been able to rebound from since he lost a UFC Welterweight Championship bout to Robbie Lawler in 2016.
McGee will look to get his first win in a while as well, as he carries a two-fight losing streak into the cage on October 3rd. Having lost four out of his last five, McGee has struggle greatly since 2017.
The fight joins a fight card which now has seven bouts booked for it in total. Main eventing the show is a bantamweight fight between Holly Holm and Irene Aldana. Here’s all seven fights scheduled currently.
