Ranked middleweights Darren Till and Jack Hermansson are set to meet in a headlining bout on the UFC’s December 5th show. The matchup was first announced by Brett Okamoto of ESPN.
Till’s last fight was a headlining bout last July, losing a decision to Robert Whittaker. The fight was only his second at middleweight, with the one before being a split decision win over Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 244.
Hermansson bounced back from a loss in his last fight, catching Kelvin Gastelum in the second minute with a heel hook last July. His previous fight was a main event bout against Jared Cannonier, being stopped early in the second round with strikes. Prior to the loss, Hermansson had four-wins-in-a-row.
The five-round bout between Hermansson and Till is the only bout currently scheduled for the promotion’s early December show.
