Newly signed Bellator fighters Magomed Magomedov and Matheus Mattos will face off at Bellator 254, which is set to happen on December 10th. The fight was first reported by TASS.
The fight joins a lineup that is scheduled to take place from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, USA.
Magomedov has an impressive 16-win career through 17 fights as a pro. He has competed in Russian promotion ACB since 2015, picking up seven wins in his run. One of the wins came against now-UFC Bantamweight Champion Petr Yan, who gave Magomedov his first loss when they rematched in 2017.
Mattos a loss to Yan in common with Magomedov, as he lost to the world champion in 2017. Mattos also comes from ACB, and his last fight was a decision win over Nashko Galaev in 2018.
Three fights are scheduled for Bellator 254 including a flyweight title fight. Here’s the lineup.
