A flyweight bout between Rogerio Bontorin and Kai Kara-France has been booked for UFC 259. First reported by Marcelo Barone of Combate, the fight joins UFC’s pay-per-view on March 6th.
The location for UFC 259 is not confirmed at the moment.
The bout will be Bontorin’s first after injury forced him out of a fight against Manel Kape in August. His last fight was in February of 2020, where he lost to Ray Borg via decision.
Kara-France returns after a loss in September to Brandon Royval. The ranked flyweight bout saw Royval catch Kara-France in the second round with a guillotine choke. Prior to the loss, Kara-France’s last fight was a win against Tyson Nam.
