Both coming off a recent win, Nate Landwehr and Julian Erosa have been paired for a February 20th UFC event. First reported by Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA, the bout joins a “Fight Night” card that does not have a location confirmed for it at the moment.
Landwehr’s most recent fight was back in May, where he defeated Darren Elkins via decision as part of UFC’s returning events from COVID-19. The win saw him bounce back from a January loss to Herbert Burns.
Landwehr has had trouble finding a fight since, as his bookings in September and December were both cancelled due to positive COVID-19 tests.
Erosa last competed in June, where he defeated previously undefeated fighter Sean Woodson with a darce choke in the third round. The win was Erosa’s return to the UFC.
Erosa was released by the UFC in 2019 following a three-fight losing streak. After winning a fight on the regional scene, he was invited back to the promotion.
The featherweight bout is now part of a card that is currently headlined by heavyweights Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis. Here are the bouts that have been reported.
