Flyweights Poliana Botelho and Ji Yeon Kim will both look to return to the win column when matched at UFC’s May 1st event. News of the bout was reported by Ana Hissa and Marcelo Barone of Combate on Tuesday.
The fight joins a lineup that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
The sole 2020 fight for both fighters in this matchup was not successful.
Botelho returned after a year-and-a-half out of the cage in October to fight Gillian Robertson. The fight went to scorecards, where Robertson won via unanimous decision. The loss was Botelho’s second since joining the UFC in 2017.
