UFC’s March 13th card has taken another hit, as Ryan Hall has withdrawn from his bout against Dan Ige. Injury forced Hall out of the bout, per a report from Cole Shelton of BJPenn.com.
The fight was set to take place during a UFC “Fight Night” card. The location of the event has not been confirmed yet.
It is not known if Ige will get a new opponent for March 13th, which is just under a month away.
Hall was looking to return after over a year outside of the cage. His last fight was in July of 2019, where he earned a unanimous decision win over Darren Elkins. The win was Hall’s fourth since joining the UFC in 2015.
Hall struggled to find a fight in 2020, as two bookings were cancelled for various reasons.
Ige had an impressive six-fight win streak snapped in July, as he lost a unanimous decision to Calvin Kattar after a five-round fight.
The news of Hall’s removal from the card came just hours before it was learned that the card’s main event between Khamzat Chimaev and Leon Edwards was scrapped.
