A lightweight bout between Bobby Green and Jim Miller has been removed from the UFC 258 main card. News of the cancelled bout was confirmed by Mike Heck and Damon Martin of MMA Fighting on Friday.
The confirmation of the cancelled fight comes hours after UFC President Dana White revealed Green collapsed backstage during the promotion’s weigh-ins.
Green appeared at the weigh-ins on Friday and made the non-championship lightweight limit of 156 pounds. However, Green did not appear during the ceremonial face-offs for the card done afterwards.
The fight was set to take place during the pay-per-view portion of UFC 258 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
A fight between Brian Kelleher and Ricky Simon has been moved from the prelims to the main card of the show replace the lightweight bout.
UFC 258 is currently scheduled to have UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman face Gilbert Burns in the main event.
