Alex Munoz To Look For First UFC Win Against Luis Pena In April 17th Booking

Luis Pena has been given a new booking, now being matched against Alex Munoz for an April 17th UFC “Fight Night” card. The featherweight bout was first reported by Mike Heck and Damon Martin of MMA Fighting.

The location for UFC’s April events is not known currently.

The booking gives Pena a quick turnaround after a February 20th bout against Drakkar Klose was cancelled the day of the event.

Pena will look to return to the win column, as Khama Worthy caught him in the third round with a rear naked choke in his June bout. Pena has competed seven times since joining the UFC, now holding a promotional record of four wins and three losses.

Munoz will return with the goal of earning his first UFC win. The previously undefeated prospect had a tough promotional debut in August, losing a unanimous decision to Nasrat Haqparast.

Former UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker is currently scheduled to headline UFC’s April 17th card in a bout against Paulo Costa. Here is the updated lineup for the card.
