Former UFC fighter Brett Johns will make his Bellator debut on May 21st, fighting Matheus Mattos. The bantamweight matchup was first reported by MMA DNA on Wednesday.
The location for the fight is not known at the moment, and it is the first fight to be announced for a May 21st date.
Johns will be making his Bellator debut after a seven-fight run in the UFC from 2016 to 2020. He finished the run strong, earning wins over Tony Gravely and Montel Jackson last year.
Mattos will attempt to bounce back after losing his Bellator debut against Magomed Magomedov in December.
