A bantamweight matchup between Jamey Simmons and Johnny Munoz has been re-booked, now being scheduled for UFC’s August 7th pay-per-view card. The fight is now set to happen at UFC 265, per a report from Nolan King of MMA Junkie.
The location for UFC 265 is not known currently.
Simmons and Munoz were first set to fight at UFC 261 in April. The fight was later moved ahead after Simmons suffered an injury.
Simmons made his UFC debut last year, getting finished in the first round of a bout by Giga Chikadze.
Munoz will also be returning after losing his UFC debut. He entered the promotion with a 10-fight undefeated record in August, which was broken by Nate Maness.
UFC Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes is currently expected to face Julianna Pena in the main event of UFC 265. Here is how the card looks at the moment.
