UFC Parts Ways With Light Heavyweight Veteran Ovince St. Preux, 10 Others

As the signing spree from UFC’s “Dana White’s Contender Series” show comes to a close next week, the promotion is seemingly now focused on trimming its roster down.

UFC reportedly parted ways with 11 fighters in recent days, including many experienced talents, per Damon Martin of MMA Fighting. Ovince St. Preux, Brian Kelleher, Ricky Glenn, Victor Altamirano, Jung Da-woon, Kaynan Kruschewsky, Briana Fortino, Victoria Leonardo, Karl Williams, Danyelle Wolf and Jarno Errens are reportedly no longer on the roster as of this week.

St. Preux is easily the most experienced UFC fighter emerging from the batch of cuts, having fought more times than any other light heavyweight in the promotion’s history (26). While gaining notoriety for finishing fights in the 2010s, pulling out the rare Von Flue Choke in four of his 11 total stoppage victories, he has put together just three wins in his past eight appearances since the beginning of 2020.

St. Preux’s last fight was a first-round submission loss to Ryan Spann at UFC 307 last weekend.

Bantamweight Kelleher is another veteran UFC talent, exiting the promotion after appearing in 17 fights from 2017 to 2024. Kelleher was a highly active fighter during his run, competing as many as four times in 2020. He departs the promotion after suffering a run of four consecutive first-round finish losses.

Other experienced fighters among the cuts include 11-fight vet Glenn, nine-fight alum Jung, and six-bout flyweight Altamirano. The rest of the list had five or fewer assignments during their time with the promotion.
