Olivier Aubin-Mercier Added To PFL 2020 Lightweight Division

Olivier Aubin-Mercier has joined the third season of the Professional Fighters League, set to compete in the lightweight division. As reported by Ariel Helwani of ESPN on Tuesday, this ends the Canadian fighter’s 12-fight stint with the UFC.

Aubin-Mercier finished his UFC run with three losses via decision. He joined the UFC in 2014 in the fifth fight of his professional career. He had a four-fight winning streak at one point, spanning from 2016 to 2018.

“The Canadian Gangster” posted an image of the PFL logo on his Instagram Wednesday evening without a caption.

The PFL lightweight roster will include defending champion Natan Schulte, who has won the first two seasons of the league. Also already announced for the division is former RIZIN competitor Johnny Case, and Mikhail Odintsov, who won his way into the tourney through a “Road To The PFL” event.
