UFC Fight Night: Mariya Agapova vs. Hannah Cifers Play-by-Play

Mariya Agapova made her UFC debut against Hannah Cifers. The flyweight fight went like this.

Bout 5: Mariya Agapova (8-1) vs. Hannah Cifers (10-5) (Flyweight)

Agapova, who had a clear height advantage over Cifers, was landing good jabs early. Cifers clinched up, putting Agapova against the cage. They separated before clinching again, where Agapova landed a knee to the body. They clinched often in the fight in-between striking exchanges. Agapova strung together a good combination of punches to the head and knees to the body in the second minute. Cifers was dropped halfway through the fight with a head kick. She was able to get up and clinch with Agapova after. On the feet, Agapova got on the back of Cifers, putting in a rear naked choke. Once they went to the ground, Cifers tapped to the choke.
