ONE Championship Announces Two Title Bouts For July Event ‘No Surrender’

ONE Championship’s return event titled “No Surrender” now has three fights attached to it. Among the three is championship fights for the promotion’s 135-pound and 155-pound Muay Thai belts. The fights were first announced via the Facebook of ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong.

The event is set to take place on July 31st at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Rodtang Jitmuangnon vs. Petchdam PetchyindeeAcademy

The promotion’s 135-pound Muay Thai champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon will face Petchdam Petchkiatpetch on the show. Rodtang has defended his belt twice since winning it from Jonathan Haggerty in August of 2019.

The fight will be Petchdam’s return to ONE Championship after a kickboxing bout against K-1 champion Takeru Segawa.

Petchmorakot PetchyindeeAcademy vs. Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex

Also on the card is a 155-pound fight between champion Petchmorakot Sangprapai and Yodsanklai Photirat. Petchmorakot defended the belt last February, going to a decision over Pongsiri PK.Saenchaimuaythaigym.

Superbon Banchamek vs. Sittichai Sitsongpeenong

A non-title kickboxing bout is also slated for the card as Superbon Banchamek will face Sittichai Sitsongpeenong. The fight will be the ONE debut for the two experienced fighters.

Superbon comes in with a large record including fights in Kunlun Fight and Lumpinee Stadium. Sittichai has been in both promotions before, and recently had a stint in American kickboxing promotion GLORY.

The fight will be the rubber match between the two, as they both picked up a win on one another in 2016.
