Light heavyweights Paul Craig and Gadzhimurad Antigulov fought on UFC’s main card on Saturday. The fight went like this.
Bout 11: Paul Craig (12-4-1) vs. Gadzhimurad Antigulov (20-6) (Light Heavyweight)
Craig took the center of the octagon right as the fight started. Craig landed a jab before Antigulov got a takedown from a clinch. Antigulov tried to pass full guard although Craig was able to keep him there. Craig tried for a triangle choke from the bottom. He was warned by the referee for putting his toes in the cage. Antigulov threw numerous punches to the head while Craig continued for a triangle. Craig eventually got the tap out, winning the fight. A cut on Craig’s face was revealed when he got up.
RESULT: Paul Craig def. Gadzhimurad Antigulov via Submission, Triangle Choke (RD 1, 2:06)
