ONE Championship’s long-awaited return has arrived, as the Singapore-based promotion has their returning event on Friday. From the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, ONE presents a six-fight card featuring MMA, kickboxing and Muay Thai. Follow along through the morning for live coverage.

Rodtang Defends ONE Belt For Third Time

Defending his ONE Flyweight Muay Thai Championship for the third time, Rodtang Jitmuangnon got a decision victory against Petchdam Petchyindee Academy.

The fast pace five-round fight saw Rodtang lead the striking, having the best out of the combinations that they would trade.

Rodtang’s last defence was in January, where he defeated Jonathan Haggerty in a rematch. Outside of ONE, his most recent Muay Thai bout was a decision loss in February.

Bout 5: Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy vs. Yodsaklai IWE Fairtex (ONE Featherweight Muay Thai Championship)

Petchmorakot Retains Over Yodsaklai

In the co-main event, Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy retained his ONE Featherweight Muay Thai Championship against Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex.

The first round was Yodsanklai’s best, where he was able to press forward and land strikes. After that, Petchmorakot was able to dictate the fight for the following rounds.

The fight was Petchmorakot’s defence of the belt, with his championship win being against Pongsiri PK.Saenchaimuaythaigym.

Bout 4: Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong vs. Superbon (155 lbs) (Kickboxing Bout)

Superbon Wins Trilogy Bout Against Sitthichai

Fighting in their trilogy bout, Superbon picked up a decision victory over Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong. The three-round kickboxing battle saw the fighters explode with combinations against each other.

Their two previous matchups came from 2016, in kickboxing promotion Kunlun Fight. Both of the fighters won a match each, making this fight give Superbon the lead in the series.

Bout 3: Stamp Fairtex (4-0) vs. Sunisa Srisen (3-0) (115 lbs) (MMA Bout)

Stamp Gets Fifth MMA Win

Getting her fifth win in MMA, Stamp Fairtex stoped Sunisa Srisen in the first round with strikes on the ground. The win was Stamp’s return to MMA after losing her kickboxing belt to Janet Todd in February.

The fight was a short one, which saw Stamp land a large amount of knees to the body before getting a takedown. The stoppage came after a flurry of punches from the back of Srisen.

The fight was Srisen’s first loss, although her most previous professional fight was in 2017.

Bout 2: Mark Abelardo (19-7) vs. Fabricio de Andrade (3-2) (148 lbs) (MMA Bout)

Andrade Wins ONE Debut

Getting an upset victory, Fabricio de Andrade caught Mark Abelardo in the second round with a rear naked choke. The win was Andrade’s ONE debut, with his record having five previous fights on the regional scene.

The finish came after Abelardo shot for a takedown, with Andrade slipping in a choke on the ground. In the first round of the fight, Abelardo consistently tried for takedowns. Andrade was able to have the better striking in the first five minutes.

Bout 1: Panpayak Jitmuangnon vs. Superlek Kiatmoo9 (135 lbs) (Muay Thai Bout)

Superlek Wins Scorecard Win Over Panpayak

Starting off the card, a close battle went to Superlek Kiatmoo9 against Panpayak Jitmuangnon. The fight was the seventh matchup between the two, with the three most previous matchups being wins to Panpayak. The win was Superlek’s second in their series.

The three-round battle was a close one that saw both fighters trade combinations from a close distance.
