Looking for his fourth win of 2020, Youssef Zalal will face Seung Woo Choi on UFC’s October 10th card. News of the featherweight matchup first broke on Monday, reported by Nolan King of MMA Junkie.
Zalal’s year has been a busy and entirely successful one. His UFC debut came in February, where he defeated Austin Lingo. He has returned twice more since UFC’s reboot in May, picking up wins over Jordan Griffin and Peter Barrett.
The October bout will be Choi’s first of 2020. His most recent was his first win in the UFC, defeating Suman Mokhtarian on a late December show. The win bounced back from his first two UFC bouts, both being losses.
Still coming together, UFC’s card on October 10th only has four bouts in total scheduled. Here’s the show currently.
Bout 4: Marlon Moraes (23-6-1) vs. Cory Sandhagen (12-2) (Bantamweight)
Bout 3: Markus Perez (12-3) vs. Rodolfa Vieira (7-0) (Middleweight)
Bout 2: Sodiq Yusuff (11-1) vs. Edson Barboza (20-9) (Featherweight)
Bout 1: Youssef Zalal (10-2) vs. Seung Woo Choi (8-3) (Featherweight)
