Coming off of wins in August, Kevin Holland and Darren Stewart will be paired for the UFC’s September 19th “Fight Night” card. Both fighters will be returning after stoppage wins.
News of the matchup was first revealed on Holland’s Instagram, announcing the fight with a video skit that played off of Stewart’s nickname, “The Dentist.”
Holland’s last win was a short notice booking, defeating Joaquin Buckley on August 8th. Holland was set to face Trevin Giles on August 1st, although Giles fainting backstage caused the fight to be cancelled moments before it was scheduled to happen.
Stewart competed on the August 8th card as well, picking up a quick win over Maki Pitolo, who lost via guillotine choke in the fourth minute. The previous fight was a decision loss to Bartosz Fabinski that broke a two-fight losing streak.
