Looking for his third win of 2020, Bobby Green has taken a short-notice matchup against Alan Patrick for UFC’s September 12th event. Green’s booking, which was announced on Wednesday by the UFC, replaces Rodrigo Vargas, who withdrew from his bout against Patrick.
Green will be returning just over a month after his last appearance. An early August fight for Green came against Lando Vannata, picking up a unanimous decision to extend his winning streak to two. His previous win was in June, defeating UFC veteran Clay Guida.
The fight is set to be Patrick’s return to MMA after an extended absence. His last fight was in October of 2018, losing in the third round to Scott Holtzman.
Patrick has had four scheduled bouts cancelled in 2020 for various reasons.
