With just under a month until the UFC’s October 10th show, the promotion has put together three more matchups for the card.
Giga Chikadze vs. Omar Morales
The show is expected to have the return of undefeated featherweight Omar Morales against Giga Chikadze. News of the matchup was first broken by Carlos Contreras Legaspi of Milenio.
Morales has fought in the UFC twice before and is still in his rookie year in the promotion. He made his debut last December, picking up a decision victory over Dong Hyun Ma. He returned last May, getting a victory over Gabriel Benitez.
Chikadze will carry a five-fight winning streak into the cage in October, a streak which includes three fights in the UFC. His last win was in May, defeating short-notice opponent Irwin Rivera via decision.
Ali Alqaisi vs. Tony Kelley
Both seeking their first win in the UFC, Ali Alqaisi and Tony Kelley will be paired up for the October 10th show. The matchup was first reported by Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA.
Alqaisi made his debut last August, losing a split decision to Irwin Rivera. Before his UFC stint he picked up numerous wins in regional promotion Brave CF.
Kelley also made his debut in August, losing a decision to Kai Kamaka III. Despite losing, Kelley walked away with an extra $50,000 after being awarded the “Fight of the Night” for UFC 252.
Tom Aspinall vs. Serghei Spivac
Both coming off of wins, heavyweights Tom Aspinall and Serghei Spivac will face off on October 10th. The matchup was announced by the UFC on Tuesday.
Aspinall made his UFC debut in July, stopping Jake Collier in the first minute with punches. The English fighter had previous fights in regional promotions like Cage Warriors and BAMMA.
The matchup is a wish granted for Aspinall, as he called out Spivac in his post-fight interview last July.
Spivac has won two of his four UFC appearances so far. Bouncing back from his February loss to Marcin Tybura, Spivac picked up a decision win against the previously undefeated Carlos Felipe last July.
