Looking to snap a two-fight streak of losses, Johnny Walker fought Ryan Spann on Saturday’s UFC card. The light heavyweight bout went like this.
Bout 11: Johnny Walker (17-5) vs. Ryan Spann (18-5) (Light Heavyweight)
Spann got a takedown after Walker connected a leg kick and punch. Walker was quick to get back to his feet, although Spann kept him against the cage in a clinch. Spann landed a punch that dropped Walker in the second minute of the fight. Spann took full guard on top, although Walker was able to sweep and take full guard before getting back up. Walker seemingly got wobbled again on the feet by a punch. Spann shot for a takedown, although Walker defended the attempt with numerous punches and elbows. The dozens of strikes hurt Spann, eventually putting him out and causing the fight to end.
