Short-notice opponent Cameron Else fought fellow bantamweight Kyler Phillips on Saturday’s UFC card. Their fight went like this.

Both fighters landed some punches early in the fight. Phillips scored a takedown in the third minute of the round. Phillips stood up, going back down in side control. Else was able to reverse the position for a moment before being put on his back again. Phillips was able to go back down to side control. He got on the back of Else with a minute left in the fight. Phillips went into half guard with 30 seconds left in the fight. He landed some hammerfist punches to a rocked Else as the round concluded.
Phillips got a takedown from a body lock early in the second round. He took the back of Else shortly after moving into full mount. He landed elbows from the position until the referee stopped the fight.
