Looking to build off of his UFC debut win in October, Carlos Felipe has been booked to face Justin Tafa on a January 16th UFC card. The heavyweight pairing was first reported by Marcelo Barone of MMA Junkie.
It is not known currently where the fight card will happen.
Felipe won his UFC debut a few weeks ago, taking a decision victory over Yorgan De Castro. The fight was a bounce back from his UFC debut in July, which was a scorecard loss to Serghei Spivac.
Tafa last competed in February, stopping Juan Adams in the second minute with punches. Like Felipe, Tafa’s UFC debut was a loss.
The January 16th card had one other fight previously reported for it, that being a matchup between Ricky Simon and Brian Kelleher.
