The UFC is aiming to have a strawweight bout between Roxanne Modafferi and Viviane Araujo on a January 30th card. The possible pairing was first reported by Eric Kowal of MyMMANews.
Should the fight be booked, it would be the first to be added to a January 30th UFC card.
Modafferi, a veteran of the sport, got back into the win column in September with a win over Andrea Lee. She previously lost to Lauren Murphy in June.
Araujo returned to the win column in her last fight as well, picking up a decision victory over Montana De La Rosa. Her previous fight was her first UFC loss, not being favoured on scorecards against Jessica Eye.
