Returning after his first UFC win, Modestas Bukauskas fought Jimmy Crute on the main card of Saturday’s UFC “Fight Night.” Here’s how their fight went.
Bout 9: Modestas Bukauskas (11-2) vs. Jimmy Crute (11-1) (Light Heavyweight)
Crute looked for a takedown early in the first round, although Bukauskas was able to back up to the cage to resist it. A pause came in the first minute after a knee to the groin hit Bukauskas. Crute dropped Bukauskas with a right hook in the third minute of action. Bukauskas tried to get back up but was knocked down again after a right uppercut and left hook. The referee stopped the fight shortly after.
RESULT: Jimmy Crute def. Modestas Bukauskas via TKO, Strikes (RD 1, 2:01)
