Invicta FC fighter Miranda Maverick made her UFC debut on the prelims against Liana Jojua. Their fight went like this.
Bout 2: Liana Jojua (8-3) vs. Miranda Maverick (7-2) (Flyweight)
Jojua put together nice punches early in the first round. Maverick opened up with combinations in the second round of the fight that connected. As the strikes from Maverick continued to land the output from Jojua stopped. An elbow from Maverick in the second half of the round cut Jojua on the nose, causing a lot of blood to pour out. The doctors stopped the fight due to the cut in-between rounds.
RESULT: Miranda Maverick def. Liana Jojua via TKO, Doctor Stoppage (RD 1, 5:00)
