The UFC is looking to add a fight between Stephen Thompson and Geoff Neal to their December 19th card, per a report from Brett Okamoto of ESPN.
The booking between the 170-pound fighters would join a card that is expected to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
The fight would see the return for both the fighters after a year-long absence from the cage.
Thompson’s last fight was in November, defeating Vicente Luque via decision at UFC 244. The fight concluded a two-fight skid which came from losses to Darren Till and Anthony Pettis.
Neal is still undefeated in the UFC, currently holding five victories within the promotion. His last fight was in December, defeating Mike Perry within a round with strikes.
