Daniel Rodriguez will step in for Orion Cosce at UFC 255, fighting Nicolas Dalby. First reported by Farah Hannoun and Simon head of MMA Junkie, the fight joins a PPV card set for November 21st.
The fight is scheduled to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Rodriguez was meant to fight on Saturday, although plans changed after his opponent, Bryan Barberena, had to undergo surgery.
Rodriguez has had a strong rookie year in the UFC, picking up three wins in the year. His last fight was in August, defeating Dwight Grant within a round with punches.
Dalby took his first UFC loss in July, being caught in the first round with a rear naked choke by Jesse Ronson. His previous fight, his UFC debut, was a decision win over Alex Oliveira.
The fight was meant to be Cosce’s UFC debut after a win on “Dana White’s Contender Series.”
