Julian Marques vs. Saparbeg Safarov Out of November 14th UFC Card

Saturday’s UFC card has been knocked down by a bout after a fight between Julian Marquez and Saparbeg Safarov was removed from the card on Friday.

Per an announcement by the UFC, the fight was removed from the card due to “weight management issues” on Safarov’s part.

The fight will proceed with 11 fights at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Marquez was scheduled to make his return to action with the fight. His previous match dated back to 2018, where he lost a split decision to Alessio Di Chirico.

The fight was set to be Safarov’s second in the year. His previous fight was a loss, being caught in an arm triangle choke by Rodolfo Vieira in March.
