Former CES Lightweight Champion Nate Andrews is set to make his Bellator debut at Bellator 254, facing promotional veteran Goiti Yamauchi.
First reported by Nolan King of MMA Junkie, the fight joins a card set to happen on December 10th at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, USA.
Andrews left CES in 2019 to participate in PFL’s 2019 season. Andrews finished the season with a record of one win and two losses, being taken out in the first round of the playoffs.
Andrews’ original Bellator debut was scheduled for March against Killys Mota, although plans changed after COVID-19 forced Bellator to alter their 2020 schedule.
Yamauchi has won his last three fights with Bellator. He last competed in December, choking Daron Cruickshank out in the first round. Yamauchi has competed in Bellator since 2013, with a record of 11 wins and three losses in the promotion.
