Danilo Marques will return to the cage on February 6th, facing Mike Rodriguez on a UFC “Fight Night” card. The matchup was first reported by Raphael Marinho of Combate.
Marques made his UFC debut in September, defeating Khadis Ibragimov via decision at UFC 253. The loss for Ibragimov was his fourth-straight and resulted in his release from the promotion afterwards.
Rodriguez competed in the same month, losing a fight to Ed Herman, as he was caught in the final minute of action by a kimura to cause a submission.
Through six fights in the UFC, Rodriguez has a record of two wins and three losses and a no-contest. He will look to even his promotional record in February.
