Aiming to defend his UFC Flyweight Championship for the first time, Deiveson Figueiredo fought Alex Perez in the main event of UFC 255 on Saturday night. The title fight went like this.

Figueiredo landed a few loud body kicks in the opening minute. Perez connected with a combination of head kicks. Perez looked for a single leg takedown in the second minute of the fight. Figueiredo resisted the takedown before rolling to the ground while holding a leg of Perez. Figueiredo lost grip of the leg as Perez took his back. As Perez moved into full guard,. Figueiredo put in a guillotine choke from the bottom that caught Perez, causing him to tap out and end the fight.
