Returning shortly after his UFC debut, Danny Chavez will face Jared Gordon at UFC’s February 20th “Fight Night” show. Club de las MMA broke the news first.
The location for the event is not known at the moment.
Chavez won his UFC debut in August, taking a unanimous decision over TJ Brown on the scorecards at UFC 252. He had three-straight wins on the regional scene prior to the debut.
Gordon returned to the win column in his last appearance, defeating Chris Fishgold via decision. His previous fight was a loss to Charles Oliveira in 2019.
The fight between Chavez and Gordon is the second bout reported for a February 20th date. The other is a bantamweight pairing between Ketlen Vieira and Yana Kunitskaya.
