Julio Arce will make his UFC bantamweight debut on February 6th when he fights Timur Valiev. The matchup was first reported by Farah Hannoun and John Morgan of MMA Junkie.
The fight joins a now seven-fight card which does not have a location reported yet.
Having previously competed at featherweight, Arce held a record of three wins and two losses in the UFC. His last fight was in November of 2019, where he lost a split decision to Hakeem Dawodu.
Arce fought as a bantamweight for the first four years of his pro career. He claimed the Ring of Combat Bantamweight Championship in 2014 and defended it three times before losing it.
Valiev lost his UFC debut to Trevin Jones in August, however, the fight was switched to a no-contest after Jones tested positive for marijuana.
