“Contender Series” stand-out Uros Medic will make his UFC debut on March 6th when he faces Aalon Cruz. The fight was first reported by MMA DNA.
The lightweight fight joins a card that does not have a location reported currently.
Still undefeated as a pro, Medic picked up a win on TV show “Dana White’s Contender Series” in August, defeating Mike Gonzalez within a round with strikes. The win on the show earned him a UFC contract. His five previous wins took place in Alaska FC.
Cruz also comes from the “Contender Series,” being a name signed in the 2019 season of the show. He lost his UFC debut in February, being stopped within a round by Spike Carlyle.
He had a four-fight win streak before his loss in UFC.
