Bantamweights Randy Costa and Trevin Jones have been paired for UFC’s March 6th event, per a report from Farah Hannoun and Nolan King of MMA Junkie.
The fight joins a three-fight card which does not have a location currently.
The matchmaking comes after both fighters picked up a strong win each in the fall.
Costa won in his return to the cage in September, stopping Journey Newson in only 41 seconds with strikes. The win was Costa’s second since joining the UFC in 2019.
All six of Costa’s wins as a pro have come within the first round.
Jones won his UFC debut in August, defeating Timur Valiev in the second round with ground and pound. The fight result was later overturned to a no-contest as the Nevada Athletic Commission found marijuana in his testings.
The fight was Jones’ first in 2020. He had two finish wins on the regional MMA scene the year before.
Three fights are currently reported for UFC’s March 6th card. Here’s the lineup.

Bout 2: Randy Costa (6-1) vs. Trevin Jones (12-6) (Bantamweight)
