Two matchups have been recently reported for UFC’s February 20th lineup. The fights join a card which do not have a location reported yet.
Eddie Wineland vs. John Castaneda
UFC veteran Eddie Wineland and John Castaneda have both verbally agreed to a February 20th fight, per a report from Danny Segura and Nolan King of MMA Junkie.
Both fighters will look to come back from a loss in the fight.
Wineland last appeared in June, where a right cross from Sean O’Malley sent him to the canvas in the second minute of action. The fight was his 14th in the UFC.
Castaneda lost his UFC debut in July, filling in for Umar Nurmagomedov in a fight against Nathaniel Wood. The short-notice fight saw Castaneda, a former Combate Americas fighter, lose via decision.
Shana Dobson vs. Casey O’Neill
Undefeated fighter Casey O’Neill will make her UFC debut on the card when she fights Shana Dobson. The fight was first reported by Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie.
O’Neill enters the promotion after five-straight wins since her pro debut in 2019. Her last fight was in September, where she defeated Christina Stelliou on a UAE Warriors card.
Dobson snapped a three-fight losing streak in her last fight, defeating Mariya Agapova in the second round with strikes. Dobson pulled off an upset in the fight, as she entered the bout as a +900 underdog.
