Saturday’s UFC “Fight Night” card has lost a bout, as Rick Glenn has been removed from his bout against Carlton Minus. The cancelled bout was first reported by Al Zullino.
The fight was scheduled to take place as part of a card from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
There is no official word currently on what forced Glenn out of his fight. The matchup was scheduled to be his first since 2018.
Glenn has competed in the UFC since 2016 and currently holds a promotional record of three wins and three losses.
Minus lost his UFC debut in August, dropping a bout to Matthew Semelsberger via decision.
The fight is the second to be removed from the forthcoming card this week. Earlier in the week it was reported that a positive COVID-19 test forced Belal Muhammad out of his fight against Dhiego Lima.
Stephen Thompson and Geoff Neal are currently in the main event spot of the card. They were bumped up to the headlining spot after a positive COVID-19 test removed Leon Edwards from a fight against Khamzat Chimaev.
