Gloria de Paula will make her UFC debut against former Invicta FC Atomweight Champion Jinh Yu Frey on March 13th. News of the fight was first reported by Guilherme Cruz, Damon Martin and Mike Heck of MMA Fighting.
The fight is added to a “Fight Night” lineup that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
De Paula earned her UFC contract last month with a victory on “Dana White’s Contender Series.” De Paula fought towards her fifth victory as a pro, defeating Pauline Macias via decision after three rounds.
She now fights Frey, who will also look for her first UFC victory. Frey made her UFC debut over the summer, being paired against fellow Invicta FC alum Kay Hansen. Frey’s strong performance was stopped late, as Hansen caught her in a triangle-armbar that caused a submission.
Frey lost her second UFC fight in October, dropping a decision to Loma Lookboonmee.
