11-fight undefeated welterweight Uros Jurisic has signed a contract with KSW, per a report from Damon Martin of MMA Fighting. Jurisic joins the Polish promotion after a successful run on the regional scene along with a win in Bellator.
Jurisic last competed in October, where he defeated Walter Gahadza on the prelims of a Bellator card. Jurisic earned a rear naked choke victory in the fourth minute of action.
Jurisic had a notable run in regional MMA promotion Titan FC, where he won three-straight fights, becoming their welterweight champ in the third. He has appeared in UFC programming in the past, participating in the promotion’s 21st season of “The Ultimate Fighter” back in 2015. Jurisic was eliminated on the show following a loss to Luiz Firmino.
KSW’s current welterweight champion is Roberto Soldic, who claimed the belt in 2018 with a win over Dricus Du Plessis. While taking numerous non-championship fights in recent years, Soldic has defended his belt once with a win against Krystian Kaszubowski.
KSW has one upcoming event on their schedule, planning to hold KSW 58 on January 30th.
