A rematch between Pedro Munhoz and Jimmie Rivera has been moved ahead to UFC 258, per a report from Mike Heck and Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting.
The matchup joins a pay-per-view lineup that is scheduled for February 13th. The event does not have a location confirmed for it currently.
The fight was originally scheduled for a January 30th event which has since been scrapped from UFC’s calendar.
Munhoz and Rivera will meet for the first time since 2015, where Rivera was able to win a split decision after three rounds of action.
Munhoz enters the fight on a two-fight losing streak, having lost to Aljamain Sterling and Frankie Edgar in the past two years. His loss to Edgar came via decision after a five-round fight. The matchup was awarded “Fight of the Night” afterwards.
Rivera won his last fight, taking a decision win over Cody Stamann in July. The win concluded a two-fight losing streak.
