Gavin Tucker has taken a short-notice fight against Dan Ige at UFC’s March 13th event, per reports. As first reported by Brett Okamoto of ESPN, the fight will see Tucker take the place of Ryan Hall in a featherweight booking.
The bout joins a card that was scheduled to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Tucker takes the bout in March to kick off his 2021. The Canadian contender had a strong 2020, picking up a submission win against Justin Jaynes and a decision over Billy Quarantillo. Tucker currently has a three-fight win streak.
Ige will be returning after losing a five-round fight to Calvin Kattar in July. The main event loss broke a six-fight win streak that he had accumulated through the past few years.
Ige was previously without an opponent for March 13th after Hall withdrew from the bout.
