Sean Strickland will attempt to continue his recent momentum when matched against Krzysztof Jotko at a May 1st UFC “Fight Night” event. The bout was first reported by MMAPudelek and later announced by Paradigm Sports, the management team for Strickland.
The fight joins a growing lineup that does not have a location confirmed for it at the moment.
Strickland had a successful return to competition in 2020, ending a two-year absence from the cage. Making up for lost time, Strickland picked up wins against Jack Marshman and Brendan Allen in the closing months of the year.
He now fights Jotko, who is also seeing recent success in the division. Jotko has put together a three-fight win streak in the past two years, earning decision wins over names like Alen Amedovski and Eryk Anders.
By the time the fight rolls around, Jotko will be competing for the first time in nearly a year. The Polish fighter was meant to fight Makhmud Muradov in October, although plans for that fight were derailed after he withdrew from it.
