A strawweight bout between Angela Hill and Ashley Yoder has been removed from UFC’s February 27th “Fight Night” card. Per a statement from the promotion, the fight was removed from the lineup due to “COVID-19 protocol.”
News of the fight being taken out of the lineup comes just hours before it was set to happen. The fight was scheduled to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
UFC’s official statement also mentioned that the fight has now been moved to UFC’s March 13th card.
The short-notice cancelled bout joins a long list of fights that have been removed from UFC’s February 27th lineup. The card now has nine bouts in total, including a heavyweight main event between Jairzinho Rozenstruick and Ciryl Gane.
