UFC’s March 13th event has recently gained a flyweight bout between Cortney Casey and JJ Aldrich. The matchup was confirmed by Mike Heck of MMA Fighting on Friday.
The bout will join a “Fight Night” card that is scheduled to happen at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Both flyweights will look to return after losing their last fight.
Casey was stopped by veteran Gillian Robertson in June, getting submitted in with a rear naked choke in the final minute of their bout. Her previous fight saw her submit Mara Romero Borella with an armbar.
Casey was scheduled to compete on a card in December against Priscila Cachoeira, although it was cancelled after Cachoeira had weight cut issues.
Alrich will be competing after a year outside of the cage. She last fought in early 2020, where she lost a split decision to Sabina Mazo.
