Bellator has booked an important fight for their bantamweight division on May 7th, pairing Raufeon Stots up with Josh Hill for Bellator 258. News of the bout was first reported by Nolan King and Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie.
The fight joins a card that is expected to take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, USA.
Both fighters will be wagering their short yet impactful win streaks in the promotion.
Stots has been successful through three bouts in the promotion. After handing Cass Bell his first loss as a pro in July, the Roufusport Gym fighter earned a decision victory over Keith Lee last November.
Prior to his Bellator run, Stots put together a three-fight win streak in high-level regional promotion LFA.
Hill will be returning after his rookie year in the promotion. The former participant on “The Ultimate Fighter” won two fights under the Bellator banner last year, picking up decision victories against Vinicius Zani and Erik Perez.
Bellator 258 currently has a bantamweight title fight in the main event, as Juan Archuleta has been booked to fight Sergio Pettis. Here is how the full card looks currently.
